Our 43rd stay ! lovely here , as always .We explored some new , short walks. Minffordd ( around the lake ) , the kings guards trail , the kings champion trail , the Glasdir trail ( with coppermine) and the forest garden discovery trail. Very impressed at the accessible walks in this area. Also , the prom at Barmouth , with spectacular sunset and the accessible section of Foel Offrwm for the fabulous views of Cader Idris . A mix of weather , frost , sun , low cloud , sun – not at all bad for January and February . Spent a lot of time by the log fire , also enjoying long lazy , brunches at the table , watching jets. A birthday lunch at Pale Hall, Bala ( as Penmaenuchaf was closed ) Back in a couple of months , can’t wait!
